Yes, people who have recovered from COVID-19 can safely travel if they have met criteria to travel. Travelers who have recovered from COVID-19 in the past 90 days do not need to get tested before or after travel. If they develop COVID-19 symptoms before, during or after travel, they should isolate and consult with a healthcare provider for testing recommendations. Please ask an advisor or check the regional rule update before making your trip. Those traveling by air to some countries can show documentation of recovery from COVID-19 instead of a negative test result before boarding their flight. These travelers should follow other travel recommendations & requirements for domestic & international travel.
Yes. On 18 March 2022, the regulations which set out England’s travel restrictions were revoked by a statutory instrument, The Health Protection (Coronavirus, International Travel and Operator Liability) (Revocation) (England) Regulations 2022. The removal of all remaining Covid-travel restrictions was confirmed by a Government press release on 14 March 2022. Since 18 March, anyone entering England no longer needs to take tests or complete a passenger locator form, whether they are vaccinated or not. This is also true for people entering Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
In many cases, yes. Travellers should check the FCDO Travel Advice pages for any country they wish to travel to, to see what restrictions may be in place. Countries may require proof of vaccination. Many countries accept the NHS Covid Pass as such proof. In its Living with Covid-19 guidance document, published on 21 February 2022, UK Government said that the NHS Covid Pass will continue to be available for international travel, through the NHS App.
Yes, for children aged 12 and above. The pass was initially only available to 12-15 year olds in letter form from 13 December 2021. A digital version was then made available from 3 February 2022. It can be obtained from the NHS Covid Pass website, and can be used to display proof of full vaccination, or of recovery from a prior infection within the past 6 months.
Requirements for travel visas vary widely depending on your nationality and your destination. Although we are able to arrange visa for regions where permit are required. If you do require any type of visa please contact one of our advisors via email, call or even texting on Whatsapp.
Most of our adventures do not include airport transfers and so we recommend you arrange a taxi on arrival (this is the most economical and efficient way of getting you to your hotel). If you would prefer a pre-arranged transfer these are usually available at an additional cost - please contact us for more information. Some of our adventures include an arrival transfer — departure transfers can be locally arranged at additional cost from the finishing point hotel.
